Devin grew up in Bellingham and studied in Seattle. Her surroundings and keen sense of community service shaped her. Her time in Cartagena, Colombia, and Buenos Aires, Argentina, broadened her worldview and deepened her passion for immigrant advocacy.

She actively supports immigrant communities through volunteer work, teaching citizenship classes, and encouraging civic engagement. These real-world connections fuel her mission to offer compassionate and effective legal representation rooted in cultural understanding.

Academic Path Built on Service and Leadership

Devin earned her Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law in 2021. She received the Trustee Scholarship and the CALI Award for Innovating the Built Environment there.

She served as a Student Attorney in the Ronald A. Peterson Clinic and was Co-President of the Women’s Law Caucus. She has an undergraduate degree in Law, Societies, and Justice.

She earned this degree from the University of Washington. It provided her with a strong foundation in public service and legal reform.

Devin’s career includes meaningful experience in litigation, legal research, and client interaction. As a Judicial Clerk for Judge Millie M. Judge in Snohomish County, she wrote legal opinions. These opinions were about family and civil cases.

At Tyson & Mendes and Cook & Bartlett, PLLC, she strengthened her skills in trial preparation and litigation support. Her time at the Law Offices of Jeffrey Goldman was crucial. She worked on immigration cases, wrote asylum briefs, and interviewed clients in Spanish.
